Opening doors to a greener future

All over the world, ordinary people are
doing their bit to try and reduce their carbon footprint
(and their energy bills) to
help efforts to stave off the potentially catastrophic
effects of climate change.
In Bristol, as part of the bristolgreendoors
project, 50 householders will be opening their
homes in September to show what they have
done.
Is there anyone in the Chew Valley
Gazette's area who could point to any measures
they have taken in the last few years,
whether no-cost, low-cost or expensive, that
have helped them achieve energy savings?
We hope to profile some of the local people
who have done similar things, to show others
how they could follow suit. If you'd be prepared
to be mentioned in a future feature (we
needn't mention your name if you'd rather we
didn't) please contact Rowland Janes at the Gazette
