Chew Valley Great Get Together on Thursday 17th

Bath & North East Somerset Carers’ Centre, the Village Agents and several other charities are holding a special event to celebrate local carers and people living in the local community.

All members of the local community are warmly invited to join the Chew Valley ‘Great Get Together’ to celebrate local carers and people living in the local community. Everyone is encouraged to bring loved ones, family members or friends to enjoy some new activities and a delicious buffet lunch.

During the event which is being held on Thursday 17th August at Chew Valley School visitors can participate and share in activities including New Age Kurling, Gentle Exercise, Music & Song, Golden Oldies, Quiz, Roman Bath’s Artefacts (Handling Collection) and Bookmark Printing. Places are limited so you need to register your interest by emailing jane.fell@banescarerscentre.org.uk

The Great Get Together is being held in partnership with: BANES Carers’ Centre, Village Agents, St John’s Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society, AGEUK & Heritage Services (BANES)

Venue: Chew Valley School, Chew Lane, Chew Magna, Bristol BS40 8QB

Directions and Transport for Chew Valley Children’s Centre

Venue: The centre is located within Chew Valley School Campus.

Enter the school driveway and take second left around to the detached building on the right (old Children’s Centre).

Transport: please give as much notice as possible, spaces are limited and where possible, please car share with friends and family.

Volunteer transport may be available: please contact BANES Carers’ Centre - jane.fell@banescarerscentre.org.uk

Car Park: Limited parking next to the Children Centre building but plenty of on-site parking within the school grounds.
