Man dies following collision in Blagdon

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed the death of a motorcyclist following a collision on the B3134 earlier today.

A 53-year-old man died when the motorcycle he was riding was in collision with a tree at about 9.51am. His next of kin have been informed and they are said be receiving support from the constabulary.

The road was closed for around six hours while Avon and Somerset Police carried out enquiries at the scene. They are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision or have any further information relating to the fatal incident.
